This fest will feature Wisconsin and Illinois brewers in a friendly battle to see who takes home the “Willy”, a traveling trophy awarded to the state with the best brews as voted on by attendees at the fest. A Border War 5K run will be held prior to the fest, food truck cuisine and home brews will round out the line-up, and fest-goers can cheer on their state!
The South Loop Beer & Cider Fest will consist of one afternoon session from 4:00pm – 7:30pm (3pm entry for VIP Guests). It will offer an impressive array of beer and hard ciders from Illinois and beyond. In addition to the sampling of craft beers, attendees can purchase food and enjoy live music and craft beer-centric activities.
The most eclectic beer festival in the area featuring 50 cask conditioned ales (firkins) and ciders. This festival has a great vibe with the perfect combination of a unique brews, quality attendees and a welcoming venue in Cathedral Square Park.. Event goers can vote for their favorite firkin beer and help decide which brew is awarded the “Big Firkin Award.”
The 2017 Naperville Ale Fest – Summer Edition will take place on Saturday, July 15, and will feature over 200 unique American craft beers, live music and food from some of area’s favorite restaurants and food trucks. Situated on the grounds of the Naper Settlement, with downtown Naperville as a backdrop, it is the ideal setting to experience craft beer. A portion of the proceeds from the Naperville Ale Fest will benefit the Naper Settlement and the Naperville Heritage Society.
